Hey, this is Dawlish of the band Dawlish and the Archies. So, there's this really awesome guy, his name is Danny Nick, of the band Hogwarts, A History. And one day, on the bus, this person was harassing another passenger. Danny attempted to diffuse the situation, but ended up being attacked, and the harasser fled. His attacker is I believe still at large, and in thanks for his immense bravery, Danny received a $4,000 medical bill, due to some of his teeth being punched out. You know what I think? I think that SUCKS RHINO BALLS, and something should be done about it. Now, a lot of wizard rock bands have collected funds for Danny whilst on tour or donated their profits to Danny, but there hasn't yet been an actual fundraiser dealie - you know, where there's one large event and that event somehow motivates hopefully fairly large groups of people to give hopefully fairly large sums of money.
So, I have decided to start said fundraiser. Over at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/reparo-teeth (don't worry, the page will get a lot prettier), I will do various stupid yet amusing things for your pleasure. The more money you donate, the longer I endure these stupid yet amusing things. If that's enough to sell you, then all I need to tell you is that it will begin at 10:00 AM, PST, on Saturday, August 7th, In The Year Of Our Lord Two Thousand Ten.

At 9:00, the UStream will open with some light music and a nice placehold image and stuff like that. At 10:00, I will begin my reading of My Immortal, widely considered to be the worst fanfiction ever written. It's possible that some of you may recall that I read this fanfiction in its entirety on air about a year ago, but I did not have a very large audience, and it's just so damn funny that it's worth experiencing it again. And again. And again. Anywho, I will read the story in it's entirety, free of charge (as it were), but I will do extra stuff in return for donations. For example, you could donate for me to wear a silly hat during the next chapter, or read it in a squeaky voice, or pig Latin, or while upside down, or sing a chapter to the tune of a Lady Gaga song, or WHATEVER. The point is - you donate, and you make a hard task even more annoying and difficult. Charity and spite make a wonderful combination!
After I finish the story (it was about 5 hours last time), I will take a half hour to one hour break, and then return in full force for the ZOMBIE NATION MARATHON, where I listen to just one single song OVER AND OVER AND OVER, as long as people to continue to donate. I will do the first hour pro bono, the second one for five bucks, and then double that for each extra hour. I may change the rate depending on how willing people are to give and all the jazz.
